For Gran

If you ask me, we don’t get our families together enough for those big family portraits like we used to. We love the individual shots and the small family portraits, but we seem to have lost the desire for those extended family photos with all the cousins, aunts, uncles and most importantly the grandparents! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE all those other photo types ( because obviously I love photos!) but the extended family portraits are the family’s big picture! Those are the ones that tell the whole story of who we are and where we come from. Those are the ones we pass down through the generations because those are the ones that matter the most! Those are the ones that show what life was like when we all got together and those are the ones we end up cherishing the most when we’ve had to say good-bye to one of our own. If I may, I’d like to be the voice that reminds you to get the family together and get those extended family portraits! And if that’s not enough motivation then do it for Gran.
