A Very Pettit Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is by far my favorite holiday! For me it brings back warm memories of family reunions in my great grandfather’s home in the mountains. Where aunts, uncles and cousins would share stories and play games in every nook and cranny of the once double wide trailer turned home. It brings back memories of tables filled with every kind of food and treat you could want on thanksgiving. It brings me back to a time when my family traveled from all over to be together. And for me thats the best part of Thanksgiving; having your whole family together around the table.

Like many families these days the Pettit’s do not all live in the same state, and traveling to see each other doesn’t happen as often as everyone would like. Only on special occasions like this one are they able to be together. So this year at the Pettit’s home there was something to be extra thankful for; their WHOLE family around the table.
